A Key Therapy Featured in The Trumansburg Free Press

We are grateful to share that A Key Therapy was featured in The Trumansburg Free Press in the September 9, 2026 issue. Reporter Kira Walter wrote about the practice, which began welcoming new clients on September 4, and about the thinking behind it.
What the article covers
The piece, titled "A Key Therapy: A Mindfulness Based Group Practice By Trumansburg Locals," looks at how our work grew out of a career spent paying attention, listening to a story, and offering thoughtful feedback. It traces the path from running a literary journal to clinical social work, and from international crisis response at Cornell to building a practice here in the Finger Lakes.
It also describes our mission: offering clients a mindful approach to their own healing while creating a supportive home for clinicians who want to grow their careers in a more human experience of therapy. We serve clients across New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Virginia, mostly by telehealth, and we are keeping an eye out for a permanent home on Main Street in Trumansburg.
